What Love Always Does

Biblical love is more than emotion – it’s a choice requiring action. Paul describes four essential actions in 1 Corinthians 13:7: love protects by covering others’ faults and bearing with their weaknesses, believes by giving the benefit of the doubt, hopes by trusting in God’s power to restore relationships, and endures through spiritual battles and relational difficulties. These actions aren’t optional for Christians but are evidence of spiritual maturity and obedience to the greatest commandment. When we fail to love biblically, we give Satan a foothold and hinder God’s work in our churches and communities.
