The church has been given a sacred mission to share the gospel, yet many Christians never tell anyone how to be saved. Using Jude 22-23 as a guide, believers are called to approach evangelism with three essential elements: showing compassion to those who are doubting, having courage to rescue the deceived from eternal judgment, and exercising caution around those living in unashamed sin. The reality of hell should create urgency in our witness, as people around us are one heartbeat away from eternity. Every Christian must become intentional about sharing Christ with family, neighbors, coworkers, and strangers, remembering that we may be the only person who will ever share the gospel with them.
