SNOW GOOSE HUNT – February 3-6, 2027

Hey church family, Herbie here!

We’ve got our upcoming snow goose hunt locked in with Northern Skies Outfitters at multiple farms around the DeWitt, Arkansas area. We’ve hunted with these guys for about 10 years now, and they always put on a top-notch trip.

Here are all the details and our itinerary for anyone joining us:

Trip Overview & Details

  • Dates: February 3rd – 6th, 2027
  • Cost: $515.00 per person for the 2-day hunt, 3 nights of lodging, and all your meals. (Note: $515 goes straight to the outfitter, and $15 per person goes toward lodging and food costs. We fundraise throughout the year to cover the remainder of the expenses!)
  • Payment Schedule:
    • First Deposit: $257.00 due at registration sign-up.
    • Second Deposit: $258.00 due by January 10th, 2027.
  • Capacity: The first 10 people to sign up get to go. We have to cap it at 10 to fit comfortably in our lodging this year.
  • Licenses & Gear Needed:
    • You will need a valid 5-day Arkansas hunting license and the Light Goose Conservation Order Permit Number. All participants will need to contact the Arkansas Department of Conservation to obtain these.
    • Bring at least 3 boxes per day of steel-shot “BB” size shotgun shells.
    • Pack clothing for all weather conditions (we hunt in rain, sunshine, snow, or mud!).
    • Camouflage: Standard camo works fine if we are hunting in lay-down blinds or pit blinds. If we are hunting out in the decoys, each hunter will need a White Tyvek Suit or a White Frog Togs Suit (you can easily grab these on Amazon).
